Philly neighborhood honors 111th member during parade

Master Sgt. Walter J. Milewski, first sergeant of the 201st RED HORSE Sq. Det. 1 was honored by and served as Grand Marshall at the Port Richmond Memorial Day Parade in Philadelphia, Pa. this year.  Milewski and his wife Janice laid a wreath honoring those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. 

Sergeant Milewski's 28 year military career includes service in the Pa. Air National Guard, U.S. Marine Corps, Marine Corps Reserves, Army Reserves and Guard. At the same time, he worked 22 years with the City of Philadelphia, first as a deputy sheriff and now as an engineman for Engine 28.
