The 111th Attack Wing is celebrating Women's History Month by recognizing some of its own members throughout the month of March here. One such member is Staff Sgt. Brittany Adams who serves as the 111th Logistics Readiness Squadron supply management technician on base.

How long have you been in the military?
I've been in for nine years and have been a member of this unit for that entire time.

What has been the most rewarding part of serving?
I think the best part for me has been afforded the opportunity to create a full-time career out of my [Air National Guard] service. Also, the education benefits have been great. I don't know if I would have been able to attain my bachelor's degree and start on my (master's degree) without the (Air National Guard).

What would you tell someone who is interested in joining the Air National Guard?
From my experience, I would definitely tell anyone who is considering enlisting to just go for it. It's the perfect experience for a person who wants to see more of the world and have a chance to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Also, like for me, it could be the path to a full-time career.
