Catto Medal upon Staff Sgt. Melvyn L. Mayo Jr., Medical Battalion Training Site instructor, Fort Indiantown Gap, Feb. 21, 2015, at The Union League of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The award bears the name of the Civil War-era African American leader and civil rights martyr from Philadelphia and is awarded to Guardsmen who display exemplary service and community support.
